Music the Wife Loves...who else?

What girl did not jump around and lipsync like there was no tomorrow to their idol Tiffany?! There were many a sleepover making up dance routines to "I think we're alone now" and "Radio Romance" (Uh, dedicate it to the one who loves you baby!) I dedicate this one to my partners in leg warmer crime, Angie Peters and Paige Barlow!

I distinctly remember saving up my nickles and dimes to have my dad run me up to Fred Meyer to buy my first Whitney Houston cassette tape. Whitney and I had some serious hair and vocals, bouncing around on my bed. I cheered her on every year she won a zillion Grammies on TV. She's got to kick Bobby Brown out and revive the killer vocal chords (and hair) she's got!

Pat Benetar...I need a HERO! (Dedicated to my sisters & Ren McCormack.)

So call the girls, put on your blue eyeshadow and strawberry lipgloss, turn on the "blast from the past" playlist and go totally punk!

Music We Love

Music is one of the things that helps our family in many-many ways. By-in-large, most of the music we have is nothing that is not already popular or listened to regularly by our friends. However, when we run across something that is really good, we tend to want to share it. This is one of those moments.

I'm sure many of you have seen the tv show "America's Got Talent"? Well one particular contestant stands above the rest. That is, as the picture indicates, Cas Haley. His website: http://www.cashaley.com/, has samples of his music. Kind of a reggae feel to it, some acoustic stuff, some mellow electric stuff. Have a listen, you might like it.

The other artist I have always liked is a man named Kevin Moore, or "Keb Mo'". He also has a website: http://www.kebmo.net/. It has samples of his music as well. He has won various music awards, but for some reason, not many people I know seem to know about him. He is one of the best blues/guitar musicians I have ever heard.
If you have any lesser known or little known artist that you or your family like, let us know! We are always up for something new.

¡Buenas!

FYI - You may want to pause the slide show and navigate through it manually, or bump the seconds up to 7 or 8 to be able to read the captions. Enjoy!
