Water Boy

Do you need your lawn, flowers, vegetables, cement, rocks, dirt, shoes, or anything else in your yard watered? Well I have just the little man for you. He's got sparkling blue eyes, a dashing smile, sturdy on his feet and will only charge what the city charges for the water bill. Just turn the spigot, hand him the hose or 'fountain of pure bliss' as he would call it, and he's off. The boy is exact in his aim and never takes his eye off of what he thinks needs a bit of liquid refreshment during these toasty summer months. He's thorough in his H2O application and takes his job very seriously. Do not rush this master gardener, proper irrigation takes time and a second, third, or fourth sprinkling to any and every area of your yard could be necessary at any given time. When a 1/2 hour, or an hour has gone by, Water Boy will give you the sign, letting you know it's time to turn off the flow when; one or both feet are lodged in the mud, thus inhibiting mobility; his trunks have gotten so soaking wet that they have dropped to his ankles, creating yet another mobility obstacle; pesky mosquito's are becoming intolerable; the big light in the sky has gone to bed and junior can't see where he's aiming; or the water bill is going to start drawing from the boy's college fund. Either way, Adam won't like the thought of relinquishing his control over one of the coolest elements on the planet...water!

You have some fantastic pics on your blog. I especially like the one of blueberries. It makes me want some blueberry pancakes real bad. :)

We are surviving the hot, hot summer here but it is not too bad since we have a pool. Next week we're heading to Cali to cool off. You are welcome to visit any time.
