The day before Adam's Big 4th Birthday, he awoke with a fever, cough, runny nose and upset stomach. Yuck. A long awaited birthday party was postponed and replaced with a soft couch, blanket, chicken broth and PBS Kids for a good chunk of the day. Bugs should really mind their own business when it comes to birthdays. However, Dad and the family did celebrate the day before with Adam's favorite; Mac & Cheese, Hot dogs, Cucumbers & Chocolate Milk. Lots and lots of chocolate milk.
The big boy was able to muster enough boxing prowess (with a little Tylenol help) to knock down his big brother a time or two, with his new boxing gloves.
(Stay tuned for the Monster Truck Birthday Bash which followed a week later...after Adam's little birthday bug worked it's way through the whole family. Good times!)
