Melissa is the proud new coach of a local soccer team for 4 and 5 year olds. Each week, she bravely dedicates two days to running around a small field, whistle in hand, trying to teach basic skills such as running and kicking the ball, passing, etc. Ethan is on her team, and is working not only on his skill as a player, but sportsmanship as well. He still gets really offended if someone takes the ball while he is trying to kick a goal - "Hey! I was trying to kick a goal! Give that ball back right now!". It appears we have some good teaching opportunities before us as his parents.

I am so impressed with how brave Melissa is. I am signing Ben up for T-ball. It asks on the sheet if I am willing to be a coach. I am afraid to say yes, for fear that they may actually need me.
Love the new background!
Go Melissa! That is so cool! You would be the best coach ever! I don't think I would ever dare do that, not to mention that I have no skill! Soccer is one sport I really want my boys to play though...so we might have to hire you for a few private lessons someday! :) What is your schedule like? We need to plan a time to get together!
Awesome babe! You're a great (and brave) mommy. Hope the reunion went well. Wish we could have been there. Miss you guys. Love.

Uh, what word am I looking for to describe how I would feel if that was me? No...I am speachless.
Seriously Melissa...you are amazing!!! Being a mom of little busy bees AND a soccer coach...where do you find all that happy energy? :) Sounds so fun and I would love to have my kids on your team if we still lived in Utah!
Go Ethan!!! He looks adorable in his little outfit.
